Injen CAI installed but big problem

Ok, so I installed my intake today, and it was really difficult i'd have to say. It took me a while to get the stock air box out.

Once it was out getting the intake tube up was a bit difficult as well. I installed everything but now I have a problem... my car will not start at all. The key will not even turn....

Please someone tell me what's wrong I had the batter unplugged for a few hours. I have work tomorrow and if it doesnt start... then I'm going to have a problem... errr....

Some help please, my alarm still works, the lights still flash when i unlock and lock. the lights come on inside the car...

If you can't trun the key, that is because the steering wheel is locked, try to turn the steering wheel (left and right) and trun the key at the same time.

Yeah make sure the hoses and all the connectors are tight. You dont want the engine pull in unfiltered air.

Well I was trying to fix the hose on the intake vacuum port.. and that plastic piece broke off.

My questions are... how bad is this... and around how much would it be to replace.. it doesnt look like a big piece.. it basically looks like T-pipe.... I think I'm gonna have to go to honda and get it fixed early tomorrow.

the stock plumbing should have been removed from
the engine and now with it all gone should have
a straight short hose from the valve cover to the
new CAI pipe at the MAS sensor.

other then this....the rest is just CAI plumbing from
the TB to the Airfilter now found under the front
bumper.

Make sure to get that hiss GONE. Good luck

You maybe able to find the part you're looking for at AutoZone. Honda isn't too keen on fixing intakes and such. Maybe take the part off and go to parts with it and ask for the same thing? After checking Auto Zone and such first.

the stock plumbing is gone...

i do have the hose from the bigger intake port plugged into the port near the valve cover..

but for the 2nd hose, the part that connects to the control thermal vacuum port broke off....

Thank you so much dawn... like when it broke off i was just like... wtf...

you know what I'm talking about right.. its the black plastic tubing that you plug the smaller hose from the intake into the engine.

Well just ordered from Collegehillshonda I found that it's called an Air Assist Valve, its not something the normally keep in stock. I went to a dealer first to see if they had one but they needed to order it and it was gonna cost almost $100... grrrrr

But I bought it for 70 something online.. not just gotta wait. sigh. my baby is injured

Glad you got the part. Did you put the bandaid on it in the mean time?
