Turn on the heat. When it starts to dissapear and gets foggy, turn the cold on with wipers.

Did you have your defroster or AC on before you shut car off when you got to work and was it on the passenger side? Was it a humid Day out or raining?
Sometimes moisture from the evaporator will leave the climatebox and it has nowhere to go but up and it settles on the windshield. Mine did this all week it's been rainin in Jersey almost every day.
It's normal

it happened to me, it was what i use to clean the windshield and driving in a moisty area with the windows down, then when you leave your car you roll up the window and trap all that damp moisture

-try to park in a garage
-use specifically windshield cleaners for car (not windex) and wipe with NEWSPAPER (best way to clean windshields!)
-drive with A/C if its damp and humid outside
