Rear lock makes whinny noise

So I have noticed that my back left door is making a whining noise when I lock the door. This happens more often when its colder and doesn't do it but only half the times I try to lock the door. My theory is either the lock actuator is going out or needs to be lubed?? The car still under the warranty with Carmax so I'm going to take it up there to have them look at it but I was just curious if this has happen to anyone else. The car only has 24k miles on it btw.

This happens to my car when it's really cold as well, just something I overlook.

I haven't heard it at all in warm weather that I recall, just when its around freezing temps or below.

Yea I'm not sure what exactly causes it, can be annoying though.

Just call your local Honda dealers parts department with your vin, they can give you the part number, price and availability. Also, it is the same steps.... coupe or sedan.
