Help!!! Transmission problem

I was driving my 2006 auto civic coupe and it started to have trouble shifting into second. I parked the car and checked the transmission fluid and it was fine. I then started the car back up and the check engine light came on and the "D" green light is blinking. Do you know what could cause this? My car only has 38,500 miles on it. Should I drive it to the dealership (10 miles away) or should I have it towed. Would this fall under the power-train warranty?

yes, bring it to the dealership...it falls under the power train warranty

I am not sure if we should drive it or have it towed? I do not want to cause damage.

when you try to drive it, does it shift? is the problem all the times or just intermittently?
