Bad Pressure Plate? Help!
Hey Guys,
I bought my 06' Si 3 weeks back with just under 60K miles on the engine. I got it from a dealer and put the 100k Drivetrain/Tranny warranty on it. While commming out of an acceleration lane, I realized my transmission wouldn't shift to 4th, and the clutch wasn't engaging whatsoever. I pulled over and cut the ignition off. No electronics activated, I could engage the clutch and shift through all gears. As soon as I turned the ignition, clutch wouldn't do anything. I even tried starting the car in 1st and it stalled immediately. I read pressure plates are a known issue on these models...any takers? |
