This effects all 2009 Civic Si's without Navigation, not even specific VIN numbers. Apparently the display will deteriorate and peel, mine hasn't yet but it is only inevitable.

SYMPTOM

The audio unit display is discolored or peeling, or it has white spots in the corners.

CORRECTIVE ACTION

Replace the audio unit front display panel (center panel).

PARTS INFORMATION

Center Panel: P/N 39100-SVB-315ZA, H/C 9343369

TOOL INFORMATION

KTC Trim Tool Set: T/N SQJATP2O14

WARRANTY CLAIM INFORMATION

too bad honda dealers already know the problems that always happen. you dont need these stupid things. my dealer told me that my second or third gear will grind. you dont need proof. they know! they sell the damn car! it seems like people on this site are retards. they ask about stupid little things and worry about stupid sh*t and make big deals about nothing. just a bunch of noobs.

It happened to mine, had 300 miles on the car. I took it to the dealer, they ordered a new radio and a week later I was good to go..

by the looks of your avi you dont own an 06 or 07 from new when everyones tranny was shot and the dealerships would throw sand in peoples faces.
