Transmision oil R18 owners

do we use 5W30 or 5W20?
if we use the one that is not recommended, will our car has problem?

You're probably better off just using Honda MTF, especially if you're still under warranty.

better to stick with Honda stuff till ur warranty is up. If anything were to happen they can use that as a excuse.

If you ever happen to have some transmission problem, Honda could say that you didn't use the recommended transmission fluid, so they won't honor your warranty.

no need to blow ur warranty, I used to work for Cadillac's service dept and they would find ANY excuse not to honor a warranty claim. Doubt Honda would be any different
