Off Road Si
Hello fellow civic owners,
I have sort of an issue with suffs and various abrasions in my paint. I recently took the Si inadvertatly off-road yesterday evening. A buddy of mine and I were driving home from an out of town party on some twisty country roads. Needless to say I toke a turn a wee bit to fast and the next thing I know I'm barreling through a farmers cornfield. I keep my momentum so as not to get stuck in the mud. My life passed before my eyes. Luckly I made it through to the farmers driveway and drove off. I stopped at the nearest town to survey the damage. The passager side of the car got the brunt of it. My wheel wells were packed with mud and corn stalks as well as parts of the underside. I even had a couple ears of corn sitting on my windshield wipers. So today I cleaned the car up the best I could, but I noiced numerous scuffs and scapes on the paint, most of which I buffed out with some good wax and a power buffer/ polisher. Looks like the worst of it is on the passinger side near the bottom. That's probably were the car was turfing through the mud, so it's all kinds of scuffed up, even has a couple of light scraps. My question to you good people, is there anything else, possibly more eggressive, could I use to buff out more of the scuffs? Sorry for the some what long read and I thank you guys in advance for at the least reading this. Last edited by Sprecher; 11-13-2006 at 09:46 PM. |
