I just did a search on here for "wiper motor" and your post was on top. I have unusually loud sound coming from my driver side wiper motor. Can you describe the noise you are hearing? Is it from both sides or just the driver?

Keep us posted on what happens from here out.

I don't have any problems on my Si's wipers, but I do have a complaint. I like that they cross (both going outwards direction), but it leaves a lot at the top, and bottom sides of the windshield undone (which sucks when you're trying to just clean your windshield off).

That, and I feel that even at the highest speed, it isnt fast enough. My Grand Am's wipers could be going through a hurricane and I'd be able to see clearly they'd go so fast lol.

Brian,it was from the drivers side which I belive is where the motor is. Lift the wipers off the windshield to eliminate the wiper on windshield noise so you can hear it better. It happened about 70% of the time sounding like a worn out bearing noise being louder at times than others. Mine was defective from day one.Hope that helps. They could be faster ringpop but compared to my 280Z they are lightning.

Glad you posted this.....I believe this is a problem on my 2006 LX. Just left a message for the dealer to look into while it's waiting for my engine part. You know, this really sucks....I can't believe all of these problems with a freaking Honda. Who the hell is making these cars?

So, I'm not alone on this one. Mabye an engineering mistake? Hope the same thing dosn't happen to the new linkage and motor. The civic beat my Dakota out for earliest trip back to the dealer which is sad.

I don't think you are alone MRIZ. I just noticed more noise from the wipers a few weeks ago, but I thought it was me making a bigger deal out of something (those wipers always had a sound to them, but this sounded different/louder). Now that I've seen your post, I'm wondering whether I was right.

Unfortunately, if my car is without a hooked up engine right now, they probably won't be able to test it until after they fix the engine. LOL...what a joke. Please tell me this is a dream......

I have never turned on my wipers yet so I don't even know if they work. I guess I should test it eh.
