Straight Pipe... Yay or nay?
I am looking to get exhaust and I am short on cash. I read the other threads but am not quite convinced about it. Would it really be rice if I were to get straight pipe after my cat and how would it sound. I plan on leaving it in to have some sort of back pressure. Also would that give me more or less hp? Can any one help?

Keep in mind that you might be looking to save money, but you might end up spending more once you get a ticket and need to re-do it.
I think it'll be WAY too loud, but unbolt your muffler as a test and see. That'll give you the best idea of how loud / good / bad sounding it'll be. |

Backpressure: The myth and why it's wrong I put on a Go Power 3" exhaust and a Skunk2 catless race header and saw great results. |
