VSA and ABS light came on!!

last night my ABS and VSA light came on after i started to roll the car from 1st.. the car run funny and it's like it's not going anywhere.... e-brake is fully released and i don't know what's up...i turned off the ignition wait for a sec and turned it on again then the ABS and VSA light was gone!! anybody experience this??? im freaking out... car is running smoothly right now (crossing fingers).. 09 si pure stock no mods at all!!

it happened to me to. i borrowed my friends rims for awhile till i got money to buy tires and both the vsa and abs light came on, the car didnt run funny thou. when i turned off my car and started drving the light disappear but when it comes on it stays on till it turns off. stange thing is that when the light are off, when i step on the brakes very light the brake vibrates (think is that abs feature to prevent lock up) let me know how it turns out for you or if i take care of it first ill let you know

What size are the wheels? It is possible that aftermarket wheels can cause ABS to freak out and VSA is linked to ABS,

OP take it to the dealership, the ABS ecu should store a code that the dealership can pull with their HDS unit and tell you what's up

Mine usually comes on when it's super cold out in the morning. But after driving for a few minutes, turn the car off then back on, it goes on. But mine doesn't drive funny.

it happened to me to ,but i think is for the wheels and tires ..i have the fd2 with potenza re070 and is just went i rev the car really hard...i just i turned off the car and started and the light go...

Mine did this too after hpplog HIDS upp... I think its bc y ballast is to close to something and its throwing the code. Does anyone know if leaving this code on till a few days can it hurt the car?

The exclamation point inside of the triangle comes on normally when I try to peel out or go through a deep puddle to when I try to spin it out but it always goes away like 3 seconds after.

car drives fine and vtec engages like normal .

This happened to me, too. 08 Civic Si, intake + exhaust.

There was about an inch of snow on the ground, me and my blizzaks parallel parked by the train station waiting for my roommate. Once he got in the car, I started to leave the parking spot, and both lights came on. *****-footed it home so as not to lock up the brakes, left it overnight. Turned 'er on the next morning, lights went away.

My guess (at least for my car) was that the snow and ice from the parking spot got jammed up in the wheel sensor, causing a false fault, disabling the abs and vsa.

This happens to my car a lot when it's cold. If you drive for a while then turn your car off then on, then the lights will go off.

LOL yeah low 60 is cold to us. I mean 70 degrees is already cold.

But yeah back to the subject my VSA, ABS and Brake lights come on only in the morning when it's cold.

mines doing the same shet!!!!!!

took the si to the shop to get buffed out after a paint job..the weather has been in the 15-70 degrees here...but i'm thinking they wet a sensor or something...i did a code search on my flashpro and i got a u0122..bearly got code after having flashpro for 8 months

the VSA lights and the triangle with the exclamation point came on only during burnouts at first but now they stay on at all times, my car handles fine but it has been this way for a couple weeks. every now and again the abs and brake light come on with it but the car drives and feels fine so im not sure what its all about
