Strut noise from lowering...

Well, as the title reads, I have strut noise at low-speed (like pulling into a parking spot or backing up).

About 2 months ago, I had All-Jap lower my Si on Tein s-tech springs. Ron recommended and alignment, but no camber kit (same thing on his white Si) so I did it. It looks great, but now I have noise EVERY time I back up or pull in somewhere.

I had my girl take it over on Monday, and he stated that the noise might be from the stock struts and that it needs to go to Honda. He said that I might even have to put my stock springs back on. Well, my girl worked in service at Honda years ago and went right over with the car as is, and her boy said it's the springs. He also said that the struts need a certain amount of pressure or they'll make some noise. The tech also mentioned that the noise might get better, but honstly, it's getting worse.

Now I ask, what should I do? I need to get this fixed.

This is why I will not be lowering the car. The suspension as is works great. Put your stockers back on and enjoy your car. :)

well
there are 4 options that i know of

1) live with it until they blow
2) upgrade to HFP struts
3) get the camber kit, thats one thing you didn't do and might help
4) go back to stock

if you really wanted to keep the springs, i would probably go ahead and try the HFP struts, other than that i believe there are no struts out for our car right now.

Just talked to Ron. Taking it in Wed to get my stock springs put back on and then going to Honda to warranty these crappy struts.
