Jumped battery, now alarm won't beep

I have an 07 EX with a factory alarm. I recently jumped the car and now I noticed that when I get out of the car and lock the car, the alarm doesn't beep. It also doesn't beep twice when I unlock.

I know the alarm still works and is engaged when I lock the car because I made it go off to see if it was still working.

How can I get the beeps back?

should be something about it in the manual, in my last car it was a series of button presses on the remote, but im not sure about this one since mine never beeped unless I double tapped it, and that was only for the arm cycle

I looked in my manual, but it doesn't say anything about setting or resetting the beeps.

My '08 FG2 never beeped after pushing the remote's lock button once, if I pressed it again immediately after I pushed it the first time then it would beep once...I know we have different cars but I can't see why Honda would have to use different alarms either.

Mine never beeps when I unlock. Check the manual. I remember reading something about programming the beeps

if u still got a warrenty take it to the dealer. mine only beeps when i hit the lock button twice. it never beeps when i unlock it, i have an si though.

sorry to bump this old thread up but i was wondering, what is the point of clicking the lock button twice so that it beeps? does that activate the alarm? and what happends if i only click it once and leave it over night? is the alarm off but withe the doors locked?

The beep is basically a confirmation that the alarm is armed. BTW, it's in your manual.
