VSA and /!\ lights come on out of nowhere.

Im driving down the road in my 2008 Mugen Si, and out of nowhere my VSA and /!\ light come on. I press the VSA OFF button. Nothing happens. So i pull off the road. I shut the car off. Then restart it. Both lights go off. I continue driving.
This has happend to me 5 times in the past 3 months. My car is stock except S2 exhaust and k&n filter. Does anyone know what the problem could be?

UPDATED: It was a fault in the brake switch causing the VSA and /!\ lights to come on. The fix was under warranty, took about 10mins.

Idk. Vsa (on or off) works perfectly normal until the lights come on.

You would likely be able to pull a code from that when both lights are on. The VSA failing a self check, which is why the lights are showing up; either hook up a code reader to it and see what it says (if you have one) or take it to the dealer or a Honda shop and see if they can pull the code, and that should give you a direction to go.

What was the other light on the right side of the gauges? TPMS? It was too hard to see it.

Thats Mr.Bart to you!
I had the same thing. my VSA and the ! came on. only while it was raining. it was a fault with the yaw-rate-sensor... the thing that determins in what direction and at what angle the car is travaling in... like if you start spinning it knows what way forward is and brakes accordenly to straighten you out.

I dropped my car off for a few days and they fixed her up.

the ! = VSA activation indicator
If its blinking it means VSA function is activating.
it comes on and stays on when the VSA function is lost, or you if turned it off.

anyway, like someone already said, there's an intermittent fault, there is going to be codes stored, just like a check engine light. take it to your dealer

there is no way to fix it yourself and resetting the battery will do nothing also. Nothing but piss you off that is.

Its a fault with the wiring or a sensor. In my case it happened right after i dropped it and modded the suspension. i might have inadvertently bumped the thing? its possible. but it might have also been like that from factory.

Did it stay on or did it come on occasionally like mine?

No, if it's still under warranty (36k 3yr warranty, as I don't think this would be covered under the longer drivetrain one), it should be zero charge.
