auto lock not working 06 EX

Ok. This is really, really minor, but I cant seem to get the auto lock / unlock to work in my 06 EX (auto). I have tried the procedure in the manual / what people have posted on here probably a dozen times (trying to get the setting where the doors lock at 15 kph) but it just never seems to set. I've tried to do it really fast and really slow, to no luck. I have the Canadian model if that makes any difference.

Specifically I am not hearing that "second click" you're suppose to hear after holding down the lock switch for 5 seconds. Although I have tried just going ahead with the rest of the procedure just in case I am not hearing it, etc.

As I said, I wasn't even THAT interested in this feature to begin with (just noticed it on the forum one day and thought I'd try it out). But now that I cant seem to get it to work... it's become a challenge. Just wondering if anyone had any thoughts. Thanks

You might just have to reprogram it. Which is very easy,check the manual.

It's the programming that seems to not be working unfortunately. I've tried the whole procedure (turn car on, apply ebrake, hold down brake and shift out of park, hold master power lock for 5 second, shift back into park and turn off the car) over and over, but it doesn't seem to work.

as I said, specifically its that "second click" that's suppose to happen when you hold down the lock button for 5 seconds that doesn't seem to be working. never hear the second click.
