a weird rattling...
Alright, so I have a sedan, and there's this CRAZY rattle that seems to come from the center console (around the shifter) but I always thought it came from around the glovebox area when I was driving.
So anyone with a sedan, please try this out. Lean in from the passenger side door, and hit the back of the passenger seat. Tell me if you hear a rattle coming from the console area. It doesn't have to be a hard hit, just keep hitting till you a hear a rattle :) this would explain why when there's a passenger in the car, theres no rattling. Something about the seat moving makes crap rattle. Anyone? |

the seat has a little bit of movement during regular driving with no passenger, so and whenever the seat moves, i hear that damn rattle. |

side door when you heard it. did you check the torque for the bolt or nuts holding down the seat assembly to the floor? that would be the first place to check. |
