OH

MY

GOD.

I dunno about you but that was the most complicated and most frustrating C.A.I I have EVER DONE. I have done probably 4 cars so far, as well as a few friends, and first of all never did I ever have to reroute coolant lines, never did I have to take the entire bumper off lol. Everything was a pain, from having to buy a hollow socket to take the battery off (why did they make those pegs so long anyways) to having to buy a 10 inch extension to take the filter off, to breaking a clip or two, wow.

BUT ITS ON AND I AM HAPPY!!!!!!

lol

^For reals, I hate working through the civic engine compartment....

Was it even more of a b1tch fitting the tube through the frame to the throttlebody?

Cuz it sure was one to me!!

yea that was a pain too. I kept getting the elbow twisted, the reason why I probably took so long is that I baby the hell out of my car and I just took so long to do everything extra careful. I spilled a lot of coolant though. :P

Hey anyone got any ideas to cover up the excess space in the wheel well?

I am glad I had the DIY here though, the instructions that injen gave were a joke.

It was kind of hard. You need a short 10 mm socket and an extension... It took me a hour to get off the bumper, then about a hour and a half for the stock intake and another hour for the injen intake and about 15 minutes to reassemble the bumper and shit. I was getting really frustrated. None of the stock intake seemed to want to come out. Then putting in the piping, you have to have someone else to help you guide the pipe up into the engine bay due to the wires and other shit being in the way. Got to admit, huge pain in the ass but after I did it, it seemed kind of easy

I thought the instructions that injen gave were actually very handy when it came to the coolant lines, and its always better to have more pictures.

I used clamps on the top of the 2 hoses (coolant line and the other one) but where it connected to the intake I ran out of clamps... How safe is it to run it like that? I need to get to the hardware store

somebody anybody reply

Ok. I think theres something wrong with my engine itself. I have an 07 si sedan. I keep hearing like click click click click noise. My friend told me it might be the valves thats somethings not right. Can anybody seem to know what could be the sound thats coming from and is it like oh my god bad or its just not good because im going to take the car back to the dealer so they can check it. Anyways another question. If I install this CAI, wont it kill the warranty?

it wont kill the warranty as long as nothing happens to the engine because of the intake.. if you're already having issues, i'd get that fixed before you invest in a CAI since the dealership can possibly pin the excuse that the CAI caused it and void your warranty
