First thing you need to do before you even start is go to the hardware store and pick up some clamps for the hoses that Injen supplies. Your existing clamps (which they tell you to use) don't fit.

Sorry, I wasn't paying attention to size. I think I got the clamps that go from 3/8 to 5/8 and one from 1/2 to 3/4 I took the 3 hoses with me to Home Depot and just tried them. The ones Injen supplies for the intake tube are fine. You just need them for the 3 smaller hoses they supply

Why do you have to replace the coolant lines?

There's one hose supplied that's a different length from the stock one. The stock also uses hard lines which are removed. The coolant line runs from the TB to the thermostat housing

06blaksi, how did you remove the tabs on the fender trim (so you can remove the bumper)? do you just take them out with your fingers?

I used a srewdriver and ended up breaking one of them but this was alos my 5th time taking the bumper off so it was bound to happen sooner or later.

Is it advisable to have a cup handy when taking off the coolant lines so that any leftover coolant in the lines can spill into it instead of going all over the car?

Also, do you need to jack up the front of the car to remove the bumper or can you get to everything without getting underneath the car?

I'm sure it's possible to not jack up the car, but it certainly wouldn't be making the job any easier.

IIRC there's nowhere to fit a cup. Just keep some rags handy and stuff them all around where it will leak out, and you'll be fine.

See the top thick hose coming from the valve cover towards the back of the motor? This goes to the top port on the intake
The next smaller hose about 6 inches infront of the last one on the valve cover goes to the lower intake port.

The third if you look where the black intake boot is you will see it right where it bends. This is the coolant line follow the route in the pic to see where it goes...hard to describe in words here. Hope this helps

Installed today along with Hondata img, went ahead and bypassed tb coolant with the injen supplied hose. What a difference, this is a good mod. Was a little pissed when I had to cut the inner fender guards. There is no way any one can run the intake without cutting the inner guards. I read some people got away with it...yeah ok. Anyways Injen CAI kicks ass.

haha why are you guys taking the bumper off?? I installed it easy without taking the bumper off you just take the wheel off (easier imo) and remove the plastic covering inside. Takes 2 minutes instead of 10+.

By the time you jack the car up and take off the wheel, I can have the bumper off. It's been off 8 times for various shit. I can remove it in 2 minutes or less :)
