What a great diy, I installed mine today and was a lot easier to do than i thought. Took about 2 hrs but worth every hickup. I used all of the stock clamps they worked fine.

I installed my injen CAI yesterday and it took about 2hrs or so, I didnt have to cut the plastic either and I have the coupe si. Doesnt even look like there will be any rubbing at all. Oh and its so much easier to work with the intake when installing you take out the stand that holds the battery

hey i dont know if anyone else will be doing this but I figured snce the engine emits alot of heat and that is transferred to the intake that I would heat wrap my intake so that it doesnt heat up and cause the air inside to be warm. I have some of the wrap still from my DCRH so I might do that today

I think you forgot the part where you had to disconnect the negative battery pole. Also, I installed an AEM CAI and now my check engine light is coming on. I unplugged the battery, check the sensor plug, pushed the wires in, plugged the sensor plug back in till I heard the snap, plugged the battery back in, let it idle and the light stayed off until I got to work then I came back on when I went on my lunch break. The install is exactly how you have it here with hoses, placement and everything. Any ideas what could be causing the check engine light to come on?

Did you know if it's the updated version or not? The original version, which you may have if you bought it used or from a performance store that isn't consistent with selling import parts, was notorious for throwing CEL's. If anything, just go to autozone and ask them to check your code for you. They'll do it for free.
