the sound could have just been the car coming down off the curb, the suspension is going to push the wheel at the ground and it suddenly has a 6 inch drop, so that could be the cause. Again nothing to worry about if everything is visually intact and the car is not making any new noises after the incident

yep... I curbed mine just this Tuesday. I was trying to get out of traffic and head towards the airport to catch my 0805 flight to MSP... Traffic was pissing me and I did this one turn crossing the one way and "DUNK!!!" that's all you heard.

So sad, so painful, so real.

Went to the Mall Of America for the day btw.

What part hit the curb? the whole front or just the side? i hit a curb too a while back, and i heard the dreaded DUNK sound and thought oh shit so i pulled over in a shopping center, looked at everything luckily nothing was damaged and the car still drives fine but i think ill need to get an alignment soon there are just a few underbody scrapes, but thats expected just as long as nothing is damaged or bent the scrapes/scratches are fine.
