Hood problem - please help!

I am supposed to leave for the tail of the dragon today and I just noticed that my hood release isn't working!

Does anyone know how to open the hood without it?

I think what happened is when I was detailing the engine the cable came loose and now it has no tension on it when I try to use it.

Please advise!

try have someone push down on the hood when u pull the release button..just an idea..
