Under the Hood Fuse question

what does the slot 50a "Option" mean udner the hood? because i switched that fuse with the 50a "IG" fuse and i was wondering if it's safe to do so.. my 50a "IG" fuse burnt

Not sure what the "option" is. "IG" stands for ignition. If that burnt, you may have a electrical problem.(possible short to ground or overload condition)
Id take it in.
