Alarm not arming?

Hey guys,

Whenever I try to arm my car, it doesn't work. I tried to already change the battery on the key remote. And sometime it will only lock the door as well as unlock it and sometimes it won't even do anything. Most of all, it will not arm the car at all. However, whenever I use the key to lock the car manually from the drivers side and then push the key to lock the door, it will arm?? AHH this is driving me nuts, anybody know what the problem is or have encountered the same problem???

Alarm going off randomly also.

did u guys try pulling the fuse called backup in the fusebox under the hood?
see if that works

My problem was a bad sensor for the hood. Guess it was telling the alarm that the hood was unlatched when it was actually closed. St Louis Honda disconnected that sensor - problem solved for me, no more random alarms.
