Si or not, it sounds like you need a valve adjustment

naw, there's some things that make the Si sound like a loud ticking. My water pump bearings were bad causing that sound. There's also another ticking noise I have now and that would be my tensioner pulley's bearings going bad. FML.

this dictates that it's either the valves, or a bearing on a pulley attached to the serpentine belt.

take it in.

I've got money on valve adjustment.

really? what would cause it to go out of adjustment? the only way I can explain the noise is, back in the day when i used to put soda cans on the back tire of a bike and it made that noise, thats the exact noise my car is making.

i've got money on valve adjustment too. Mine wasnt as near that loud...

Idk, newer honda engines are built crappily. Like my throw out bearing is going bad...it's been going bad since 38k. It keep gettin louder and louder.

tru that. I gotta take off my TBS before I take it in...I'm also thinking about taking off my HFP suspension before I take it in and putting stock stuff on it.

If it's a valve adj wouldn't the knock sensor pick it up and through a cel?

And if all you have is exhaust, they can't blame the engine ticking on exhaust

actually they can...they can say "it's the exhaust valve that needs adjusting due to improper backpressure".

Honda is shady dude.

it's all good. Honda said they will void warranty on the engine if an exhaust has been put on from the header back to the axle. They said they would keep the warranty if the exhaust was only a axle back. I've asked all of these questions hence why my car is remaining stock.
