Shifter loud?

Hey guys, might just be my paranoia but whenever you shift into gear or downshift, do you ever hear the shifter going into gear? 2nd and 3rd are ones are I hear the most, others are mostly dead silent. Does this mean I have bad synchros or just a crappy shifter column? I'm bringing my car back to the dealer beginning of next week to solve a few of these problems, just wondering if I'm safe to drive now. Had the car for almost a month, and been hearing these sounds for about 2 1/2 weeks of owning the car. Could it be rough shifting? Need your advice, thanks!

the gearbox on the si's (if thats what your talking about) is not silky smooth by any means especially 2nd, 3rd and 4th.

It's gotten louder with age for me to the point of it being disconcerting and noticable on the outside of the car.

It feels and sounds exceedingly cheap and damaged, hearing clunking, clanking, and groaning when being put into gears.

Dealership said this is normal. I think it's poor design and relatively high levels of wear and tear.

i hear it as well and it HAS gotten louder with age. It sucks. My other honda which is 20 years old doesn't do this....and it has 100k miles on it...

Glad to see I'm not the only one that has this issue. I hate it. It makes my car feel so cheap.
