need help i have no a/c

i was running a wire for my fog lights through the grommet under the dash. i gave up after 4 hrs. after i put the bumper back and turned the car on my a/c doesn't come on. it's not a fuse because all the display lights are on. i think i may have loosen a wire or something. can anyone give me an idea were i should start looking. where is the connection for the a/c inside the car. my friend said he will help me on friday.
