Interior Dash Lights WONT light up!!!

hey i have a 2007 civic lx with 30,000 miles on it
im having a problem with the interior dash lights....the radio part wont light up.
mine is the stock deck one...i checked fuse #14 and its not blown....the ac and all the other lights come on, just not the ones on the radio....heres a pic

does any one know what to do?

i recently did some work (put in foglights, and a few led's in the interior..but only used the radio fuse...everything was working fine..after like 2 weeks..this happend)

that happened to me too when after i installed the fog lights. My dash lights didnt turn on. I thought I blew a fuse at first untill i started to drive around and on some bumps my interrior lights would turn on flash real fast. That lead me to discover that the harness was loose. Just make sure the whole harness is tight and make sure all other plugs are tight too. =]

The foglights are universal...there hooked up to the battery and a switch on the inside, I didn't touch the fuse box to install thoes. all I did was use that one bolt near it for a ground so they couldn't have done anything. Not all the interior lights are out, just the ones on the radio...the ac lights work fine....Does any one know if there's a specific plug just for the radio lights that might be loose?

I have almost exactly the same problem except i haven't add or changed anything on my 2007 civic ex sedan. all other dash lights work, the time on the radio light works... just the control knobs and button light is out. Does anybody know how to fix that one issue?

how many miles are on your car?
yea...i dont think any of my mods could have done anything...i installed everything almost a month ago, and then last night, out of nowhere, i notice that the radio lights dont work (the control knobs and the button lights)
do you think this will be covered under warranty??

let me know if you take your car to the dealer...

I've got 60k miles on my car... so as far as warranty goes, I'm SOL. So I dunno. I looked up some stuff online and it looks like the lights are little LED lights on circuit boards or something... it doesn't appear to be as easy as a bulb to screw in... its kinda a drag.

im gona stop by the dealer tomorrow and see what they say...hopefully it isnt anything major...i searched here on 8thcivic, and i saw a guy with a similar problem, he said the dealer changed the entire radio unit...u should just go to the dealer though and see what they say,,,

if your still under warranty , have honda check it mine had to be replaced for the same prob , radio worked but had no lights..

no cause they couldnt figure it out just claimed it deffective..

same thing happened to me but a few months ago but i have a 06 lx the dealership didnt know what was wrong, and my warrenty is long gone so can anyone out there help me??!!!

haha good luck with this.. =/ my girls light went out too.. and honda will try to charge you over 100bucks just to do a diagnostic if you dont have warranty.. no way..

yeah it sucks, but i was checkin out the diy on changing ur dash light so imma give it a shot i hope its like a blown led light that ill be able to change

Black 07 Civic --- What'd the dealer tell you about your radio?

they were like its not fuse, obvious cus i checked, they said they didnt no what the problem was becus everything was working but the radio lights arent and that for a charge they will take a look at it, but the dealer overcharges for simple stuff so i was gonna find some one else to check it out or if not ill try to figure it

I made an appointment at the dealer for Friday... an oil change and to check out the dash lights behind the radio. I'll let you know what they say...

I noticed the same thing on my 06; two of the ac lights dont work the first two on the top left row.... could it be something loose in the harness?

I had same problem I went to Honda and they just replaced it
