ive never filed a insurance claim before, i never wrecked my car or anything like that. this was prob the worst thing that has happened to my car that ive owned. what would i tell the insurance people? would they cover me for curb accidents?

Sure...they will cover you....this is what insurance is for...Call them and explain what happened. They will tell you to go to their closest office or they will have someone come out and look at it.. possibly take pictures etc etc...they will ask where you want to have it fixed...New car's I always go to the dealer...since this was your fault and depending on how much the claim will be.. your insurance may go up a bit...It's never too late to file a claim.... Good luck...hang in there and it will hopefully be back to brand new in a jiffy.
