Rust on my Hood by pinch weld (pictures)

I'm not even going to bother bringing this up to the dealer when i go for the reflash. Bare with me though I know my camera sucks lolz.

So here we go!

1.Here is the rust

2. After placing a towel on the fender so I wouldn't scratch any thing.

3.I got out the old hamer and punch. (I can feel you guys cringe)

4.I tapped the pinch weld in a little bit so it wouldn't make contact with the fender.

5. I touched it up and let it dry this is what it looks like now....

6.If you look at these pix they clearly made the hood wrong.

Look at the way the corners come together on each side.
Driver side:

Passenger side:

The driverside comes more to a point then passenger side they didn't fold it over on the end!

End result I fixed it but the hood clearly is messed up.
Let me know what you guys think thanx.

My hood had a large chip of paint off in that exact spot. It looked to me like they chipped it while installing the hood. I noticed it the day after I picked up the car and showed the dealer. They offered to have the hood painted but I told him I would just touch it up. I was fine with that as long as it doesn't ever rust. You can't see it unless your looking for it anyway. Being that yours is already rusting I would maybe bring it back.

I removed the rust and touched it up.

Man you guys have a good eye. I would never notice such a thing. If I did, it wouldn't bother me a bit.
