How much are you paying for a rotate and balance?

Dealer wants like $40,and a well known local tire shop charges $25.Any reason I should not use an independant tire shop? After all, tires are their business.

Just go to the dealer it's safer, $15.00 more
you can even do it yourself.

Use the 25$ shop. OR get one to just balance your tires, and rotate them yourself.q

CBR307000 Save $$ on Textbooks
i get it free from the dealer i bought from. but i would just rotate yourself and only pay for the balance, but im cheap lol. If thats not your thing then just go with the tire shop for $25, theres no way anyone can screw up a tire rotation. Save the $15

I do the rotations myself, but you really should get your tires rebalanced about every 4 rotations (or 20k). The weights can fall off over time, or as the tire wears it can have an unbalanced nature even if it's wearing evenly.
