Dealership Stickers
FFS!
ok so after almost a year, the dealership stickers started peeling a tiny bit, my GF decides, o what the hell, ill just rip it off! After her attempt, now there is this nasty ass looking goopy black gunk adhered to trunk, right under where my Civic emblem is. ive tried scraping it with my nail, washing it with soap. It just sits there and gives me the finger pretty much. Im a little hesitant on what to use as i dont wanna strip the finish or the paint. The paint feels a little different on these new Hondas than they did on the old ones.. And ive never had this issue before soo....yeah.. any ideas guys? |

On a nice warm day leave the car out in the sun to help soften the adhesive. Then use some goo-gone or WD-40 and papertowels or detailing rags (dont use ones you like) on the adhesive. A little elbow grease and it should come off, then wash and wax the area because either product will remove wax from the area as well as the adhesive.
