the only problem i've had with my seat in the si is that i notice that theres a little squeaking sound when i move my left leg to push down on the clutch. and in my ex the plastic on the sides of the seat would pop out easily when i would reach back to grab something in the rear seats.

The squeak could be from The foam bolsters in the seat cushion rubbing against the metal frame. It could be cured by undoing the j-clips underneath the seat cushion...lifting the foam and applying a light oil or place a thin cloth over the metal to prevent foam/metal contact. The foam has a cloth insert moulded into it to prevent such squeaking. It is possible it set out of place letting some of the foam touch the metal.

or...

Honda had a problem with the driver seat rails making a squeaking noise. Right by the front feet. The flat part just before it where it touches the floor.
Honda was installing felt tape to keep on the underside of the rail to keep the metal rail from touching the floor. Current models (late 06' -up) have this *issue remedied.

Back right fold down seat.

Black plastic clip piece keeps coming apart when I fold them up/down. Not a real biggie to me but is is anoying to have to put it back together just to know its coming apart again.

Found this old thread searching the archives.

Our 2006 DX-G has been back to the dealer 3 times now to fix a problem with the front seat bottom upholstry clip popping off the frame. Just dropped the car off at again this morning.
Problem is mostly on the passenger side, but is also starting on the driver.

First time the dealer had the car in for a B service time so they said they had to order parts.

Second time they "updated" it, no idea what they did though. Upholstry popped off the front of the seat on the way home.

Dropped it off again this morning, hopefully they fix it this time.

The video speaks for itself. I have to take the car back to fix it, waiting for Honda to call me. It'll be fixed under warranty.

My seats for some reason click back when going from a light, like they are not locked into place.

Yes mine has that problem too...but i popped it back in and it seems like its in there for now i hope it wont fall off on the floor lol such shoddy workmanship from Canada. Good luck taking it in to the dealer to get it fixed,i doubt thell fix it and more then likely drive your car around more then working on it!! AMD i cannot believe that your dealer said your SRS light was normal! lol such an stupid and ignorant dealership. It took them 8 months to fix that light?! what the hell were they doing? it took my dealer a day and they didnt fix it the first time either!

I love my seats, other than the fact that they're already showing signs of wear...substantially.

Looks like they might have fixed it this time, neither seat has popped apart again.

seat poblems?

I do...2006 EX sedan. Front drivers side seat bolster...a 3X2" patch of the "squiggly" lines that is part of the pattern has worn. It is not through but the texture and the pattern itself is definitely gone in the area. The car has less than 10K miles. The dealer has ordered the seat cushion cover and it is in and awaiting installation. As an aside: If someone in this forum asks "does anyone else have XXXX problem" don't answer "I don't mine is perfect" because not only is it non-responsive it is a waste of time and neither the questioner nor I care if yours is fine!!!

I have over 11K miles, and my seats are fine. As a matter of fact, I think they still look very good.

It didn't take too long for someone to tell me that their seats are fine did it?? I am happy for you but the post was asking for those who had seat PROBLEMS to say...yes, I do have seat problems and this is what those problems are and further this is what was done to correct those problems. Once again: I do not care that your seats are nice. I guess there are some that are..mine isn't.

Seat base upholstry staying in place so it looks like it is fixed.

Finding the seat not very comfortable on longer trips though:

My passenger seat pops sometimes...when accelerating or decelerating and sometimes over bumps.

Changed dealers, and the new one ordered a new upholstry for the passenger seat bottom. Installed it today under warranty. I wonder why the original dealer wouldn't do that?
