Need help with Fogs

Alright, I was able to put the fogs into the bumper and have the wiring go from one fog to the other, but then comes the problem. How do I connect the two wires through the engine? Where do I run the wires through so that it can reach inside. Where exactly should it go around the engine section? Also, My second set of wires seems to be different than the OEM fogs. I bought that "JMD yellow" fogs on ebay. Could someone tell me where each part goes in the car? It would be much appreciated.

Cool Fog light help

http://www.collegehillshonda.com/ins...oglightkit.pdf

Go to the link above. It's the instructions for the OEM foglights. The harness you are showing looks like the one that goes under the steering wheel. It gets a little tricky when installing so read everything over carefully. I installed some OEM's into my 06 EX Coupe yesterday. Hope this helps.

Well it looks like he only have two sets of wires. Which is a pain in the ass to install. I've seen somewhere on here the someone actually made it work.

The OEM fogs has three sets of wires. One set is to connect the fogs to each other. one is to connect the fogs lights to the hardness behind the water tank to car. Then last set of wires connects under the stearing wheel.

If I were you look at the document from collegehills honda website and try to figue it out. I think you're going to have to be creative here. They didnt send you the OEM wires (or similar to OEM) so goodluck bud.

I wish I can help but can't seem to remember how they did it!

I'm sorry man I dont know exactly how to do it but some of the guys either here or fgcoupe.com got it to work. It involves cuting and splicing some wires.

I wish I can be of more help bud. Sorry. There is this other option. You can go to honda and buy the actual wires off of the OEM fogs themselves. It runs around 100$ bucks.

can u separate the wires?

i can see the hook up for the fogs but not the other end of that wire which connects to the front end of the car.

the other set should be color coded(at least mine was) making the install quite a breeze

Should have read the forum before purchase, sorry for your problems. Here a good quote of our member.

"This project took me a while to finish because of problems with trendgear, dynasty and k2motor. Trendgear was the worst. Wrong harness, only two, they won't fit to honda's and no instructions, not even the template to drill hole. They did not returned my email. I wonder how many bought fogs from them from this forum. Dynasty, wish I had them but after weeks of waiting, nothing, emailed them they said it got damaged and i got a refund. Looked at k2motor, made sure that the item in the picture has all the harness mentioned in the honda's instructions. I did not get my fogs from k2 until the 2nd week. I have to confirm that they received my payment and also to send me tracking of the item shipped. I think they forgot to ship it, just my luck! So today I got the fogs and I just have to finish the job. So it is done.

Installation is not that diff. Plug and play. The harness are the same behind the bumper but the switch harness does not have the violet and the blue??? that you plug in. only the red and white. make sure you got the right tools and hmmm. I am not sure about the quality of the lights, but i can change those easily. whew! that's it. I am satisfied with my car except my horn..."
