06 Civic Si Popping Noise From Clutch

My clutch is making a popping noise. It has done it sporadically for a while, but now it has been doing it for a few days straight. You can feel it in the pedal. Any ideas? Here some some videos showing it:

Car is a 2006 Civic Si with 30,000 miles

mine kinda sounds like that but only when you hold the clutch down to start the car

Mine makes the same noise, also has seemes to be making it almost all the time. Started out not as often. Seems maybe not as loud, but that may be the microphone on the camera.

I haven't looked into it myself, but I have 34.8K on my car and is due for an oil change and going to have them look at it while still in warranty.

I just went out of warranty less than a month ago but I am only at 30k. This only adds to the ridiculously long list of problems I have had and if Honda tries to charge me to fix this they are going to have it coming for them lol.
I am taking my car in friday to have them continue to try to fix and issue I have been having for a long time that was started under warranty and I will have them look at this.

It may take awhile to diagnose, but it's really not that hard (IMHO).

It's a system, you can walk through the system and determine where the pop starts/stops.

Is it in the pedal? The linkage? The hydraulics? Or the components themselves? Once you need to crack the trans, they should just replace the clutch and TO bearing off the bat.

my friends started like this and his clutch just got harder and harder.. some of my friends are saying cracked bearing. NOOOOO

I think this may be my problem.. I have an 08 fg2 with 15k. Only thing is that it only happens when the car is cold but continues to make the noise till it warms up

Mine has been popping off and on for a few months. Went to honda yesterday and they said its the clutch master cylinder. It apparently needs to be replaced, but is not cover under the powertrain warranty.

Update:
Just confirmed with American Honda that the Clutch Master Cylinder is covered under the powertrain warranty.

Mine with 16,000 miles does the EXACT same noise... have you done anything about it? I'll probably take my car to Honda on Saturday about it. Just the noise and feeling is really annoying.

This was already covered here.. Take it back to Honda its a known issue.. Master Cylinder needs to be replaced and it IS covered under warranty. Good luck

It's gonna cost me $532 to replace the Clutch Master Cylinder and Cylinder slave.

I have almost 80k now on my 06 and have heard this clicking noise on and off for some time now. But to be honest it hasn't stop the car from doing what it needs to be doing so I left it alone. Maybe one day when I have my clutch replaced I'll look at it then. But for right now everything seems to drive the say it should.

glad im not the only one... thankfully i have 6yr/120K mile warranty

07 FA5 w/ just shy of 30K on the clock. been having this sound for 10K+ miles easy.

sounds EXACTLY like your video though and i can feel it in the pedal.
had the same problem w/ my EM2 but i cannot for the life of me figure out or remember what fixed it. i know i had the entire tranny replaced in the car tho 1800+ bucks. weksos.

yea the master cylinder and the 3rd gear problem has a tsb out for 06 07 and some 08 just goto to your nearest dealer and bring it up i go in monday for 3rd gear
