Bad customer service?
Ok, my HFP body kit is not flush with the body in several places (sorry, too late tonight for pics). I noticed it when I picked up the car, but just took it anyway...I mean what the hell was I gonna do say "no I don't want my si w/nav that I just waited 2 months for?"
Anyway, I took it in once and it was still off...In fact on part got worse. So, I call up the dealer and I set another appointment for tuesday. I take it in at 9am and get a call around 11. The service guy tells me that he talked to someone above him and they want to send my ride to their body shop as they have been having quite a time with getting these body kits right. Unfortunately the body shop could not take my ride tuesday, so he askes when I can bring it back in. I tell him tommorow (today) is fine. Anyway, I take the car in today and I'm walking about a block to Starbucks (where my buddy is) and get a very appologetic call. Basiacally, the guy at the body shop who does this type of work is not in. So, I go back and get the car. The service manager could not appologize enough and said he would comp my 1st service due to this. So, I'm supposed to take it back in friday to go to the body shop. What do you think? Bad customer service? He did give me a free service and I'm glad they admit that they aren't having luck fixing this and sending it to someone who can fix it. I also work 5 minutes away so it's not really a huge issue to bring it back...What do ya'll think? Sorry about the long post....

i dont think its bad customer service... i actually think they did good admitting they couldn't do it and giving you free service and then finding another body shop to fix your problem. some people wouldnt even go out of their way to help you out of the shop.
btw... 6spdchick, is that you in your sig? |

Yea, it's her. She just keeps getting sexier and sexier =P
And cali, I would say that it sucks that they did what they did, but at least they were honest. Either way, I would shoot for a free coffee mug or oil change.. something for your troubles. Just my .02

I'll settle for an ass shot
About the HFP kit tho. I had 1 problem with mine on delivery and they fixed it right up. No problems since. It seems like your dealer is trying which was more than mine. I'd work with him and if they can't do it to your satisfaction, call Honda. I'd wait a little bit more tho |

Got a couple areas where my kit does not adhere to the body perfectly. Have to look hard but an owner would notice. Afraid they might have to remove the kit in order to get it to fit correctly. And therefore possibly mess things up while trying to make it better. Perhaps I should just go talk to them and then decide. Cali, seems your guys are at least trying to work with you. That's a positive thing.
