Honda guarantee

Hi everybody,
I have a "fender liner" i dont know how its called in english,
its inner the front tire wing, behind the tire, the plastic is cracked due to winter i suppose.
But my car has only 8000km
i ran it in winter for like 5000km and its already broke
and my dealership telling me that is not under warranty because its an impact with ice/snow.
but if its that cheap or weak, why they dont just sell the fu****** civic in florida where their aint no snow
but i think i will call Honda canada and shout after them and see what happen
what you guys think?

ps : i have a SI 08 warranty bumper to bumper till 2011

yah they wont try to warranty it, my fogs cracked same thing and i said so i spend 600 for fog lights that lasted 6000kms and theres no warranty? call honda canada best u can do

did you call honda canada and they replaced it?? what happen with your fog, look like similar story,
or you paid ???

You do realize that pictures are worth a thousand words.

Post pics, easier to show what you are talking about.

Honda, or any manufacturers warranty usually warranties everythign that won't break through normal wear and tear.

I had an issue wiht my wipers, first time I used them they streaked and didn't clean the widnshield. this was within 300km, wipers are not usually covered under warranty, but Honda fixed it because of the type of issue I had, the entire arm had to be replaced because it wasn't giving enough down force.


Your wheel well liner isn't covered , because it can be subjected to too many variables that can cause a crack, a chip, damage that isn't from normal drivign conditions.

It's like you lower your car, and your tire rubs a hole through theliner, and you try to get it replaced, they'll laugh at you.

If you want to prepare yourself, read your warranty thouroughly. See what is actually covered, then see if any of it applies to what you have.
