Painted Calipers Question

I just painted my calipers red with the Dupli Color Caliper Paint Kit. They turned out nice! But do I need to clear coat them? Thanks in advance.

I have little to no experience on this... But I'd probably clear them just to be sure. I also think it depends on the nature of the paint. I'm no so sure enamel needs to be cleared.

I'm thinking about doing this, white calipers, on my TW FG2...

I painted mine a few months ago and i went ahead and put clear coat. a can of it is not that expensive and why not add that extra protection but i would think it shouldnt matter depending on how good of a job u did

i would recommend clearing them to avoid chipping. I used the brush version of caliper paint from duplicolor. I then cleared them with Duplicolor wheel paint extra durability.

It can't hurt. I also have a Honda decal on it so the clearcoat helps keep it glued down.
