Steering to the right, driver door can't open/close properly and window rattling.

Hey guys,

I'm going to be bringing my sedan in next Friday to have a series of problems looked at:

1) Driver's door cannot open and close properly. It seems to be making some contact with the hinges (maybe?) and it makes noises. Today, I was in the parking lot trying to close my door, but I couldn't! I had to like open it more and then close it. Weird stuff.

2) The driver's window seems to rattle when it's half way down. It almost feels like it's going to fall out.

3) The car steers to the right. I'll drive on the highway, position the steering wheel so it's heading left, then it'll just slowly begin to steer right.

4) Driver's wheel well isn't flush. Looks like there's a gap inbetween the fender and wheel well. Not cool.

I hope I get everything resolved. The downside to this is that they're going to need the car all of next Friday. I'll keep you guys posted.

When I purchased my car, the trip home, the car pulled to the right.

400 miles later I went to dealer, they aligned the car and found camber and toe were out on both front wheels.

They aligned the car and yet the car still pulled to the right.

5000 miles later, the car still pulls to the right and both front tires are feathering.

I placed a call to Honda Care Line to report this and the many other odd problems with my canadian built LX sedan.

You are not alone with the pull to the right, I have heard many people report this issue with alignments that are correct.

Damn! Hope they fix it in time for the meet. You taking it to Dow? I'd be very curious to hear if they fix your issues on the first try!

It's two Fridays from now, so I'm good for the meet.

I'm taking it to Ottawa Honda. I'll tell you how it goes. :)

Kero: I have a Canadian built LX, so I hope it isn't too much of a problem. I guess I will know the answer very shortly.

Yep, I guess so, my guess is that it has nothing to do with alignment at all and rather a strut issue or something like that.

I will also update once Honda Car Line contacts me back.

Hope all goes well!
