Uneven Tire Wear

Hey All..new here..I've read some stuff on uneven tire wear on 8th gens. Is there a general resolution to this problem now? Are dealers doing adequate repairs on it? I've always though my '07 had some strange front end alignment going on..the car is extremely nervous on snowy roads and I've always though it had excessive toe-out in the front. Well, I rotated my tires on the weekend and the inside shoulders were worn to the cords in spots but the tire still has about 30% of its treadlife left. I've contacted Honda but I'm wondering if there is actually a resolution to this. My only thoughts at this point are what a piece of **** the 8th gens are. The electronic throttle, the crappy fitting trim, the body parts not properly attached..I've not really been very happy with the car frankly.

i have uneven wear on my rear tires and mainly on the left rear. I ordered adjustable rear brackets so i can adjust the rear camber and possibly remedy the problem. I can only hope.

if your car is under warranty honda will fix your alignment. Take it to them and tell them the car is not tracking straight. I am assuming it would be covered (I know 'yota covers it).

There is no need to have to buy corrective devices to fix the camber. That will only allow the dealership to point the blame if there is infact an issue with your alignment thus eliminating any sort of warranty work you could possibly receive.

I think I have this issue too, I rotated my tires and my back right tire looked like an octagon, it was worn totally out every 6-10" with spots of good tread in between. A neighbor said one of the belts within the tire snapped but I'm not sure.

Just to follow up, Honda replaced the upper rear control arms and did an alignment and the handling is very much improved. The toe-in at the front was significantly off from the factory. Additionally, the control arms help immensely with straight-line tracking and mid-corner behaviour. If you have any doubt, get this done by Honda under warranty while you can. Cheers and thanks all.
