07 Lx Sedan Driver Seat Issue - Help?
Another issue - my driver seat makes a snapping sound when I pull the seat completely back or forward and then exit the car. In specific, after I push the seat back (all the way after releasing the release handle), I exit the car and it makes that "snap" sound as if it is locking into position when I exit the car. It only happens when I exit the car and it happens all the time. This has been an issue since my purchase as new. The reason why I push the driver's seat all the way back (before exiting) is that I am short (5',5"/128lbs) and need to pull the seat all the way forward to reach and engage the clutch pedal when driving. When done, I will exit the car by pushing the seat all the way back and then exit the car so I don't hit the steering wheel. Is this normal? The passsenger seat does not do this! Also, The driver's seat keeps loosing the retaining clip (underneath at front to hold the seat fabric in place). I let the dealer know and they put paddding underneath and snapped back in the clip holding the seat material. But it keeps coming out! And Since I've noticed it (since purchase), the seat material gave a little and now has permanent creases in the material on the part where I sit (seat cushion, not back rest part). I know there is a TSB for this for the "06" Civics but it looks like mine is affected also. Anyone has the same issue or know of how to get this fixed? I have a good standings with my dealer and want to keep it that way but issue like this needs to be looked at. Anyone, please reply? Thanx.
