OEM chrome lugs rusting? - Resolved!!!!

Situation - chrome lugs on my 07 Civic are rusting. Have been rusting since purchase. Took off the culprit lugs and noticed chips. This is obviously where the rust is coming from.
Question - Are the chrome lugs under warranty even though they were an extra accessory added to my car during purchase? Also, I am looking at aftermarket (McGard) lugs to replace these. They claim to be "rust free" for the life to the lug. McGard claims to make these (OEM) for thirty car companies globally. If so, is Honda one of them? Does anybody here have these to prove of good quality? Please reply. I am looking for "TOP" lugs to avoid previous issues. Thanx.

Few days later - Opened up my "Civic" package (from storage) and found that the chrome lugs are directly from "McGard"! A service card and instructions came with the car package. So I contacted them and stated the above issue. They are requesting me to send a sample (one lug and one lock) with a copy of service card info. They will then ship me (at no cost) a complete set of new lugs and locks!! Great! But if they are known for such high quality, why are they rusting so quickly? After careful inquiry, they mentioned that the lugs will easily damage from impact guns leaving micro chips and then....RUST! I don't own an impact wrench/compressor so it would be in the hands of my local dealer since they take care (maintence) of my car. Never the less, they will be replaced in a matter of a week.
People, check with your car package or dealer if they are directly from McGard. My dealer (in Canada) supplies this as an extra accessory through them. The dealer can also take care of it and save time! Thanx guys!!!

Yeah they rust the minute you put a wrench on them and they get scratched. They are cheaply made. If it bothers you then get new one's for $5 each.
