Tapping sound from clutch?

Hello everyone.. a couple weeks ago I received my FG2 back from honda for a 2nd and 3rd gear set replacement.. third gear is completely fixed.. second still grinds just a tad bit when I slide it in too fast.. but it doesnt lock me out anymore.. but the past few days.. i've noticed my cluth making this odd sound.. when I push in my clutch and once it gets to the point its all way the pushed in.. I here a "tap" sound.. sound like metal on metal tap.. I can also feel this in the clutch.. what could this mean?

i hear a similar sound on my 08 Si. it sounds more like a click everytime you press down the clutch pedal. im not sure if this relates sound wise, but it seems like its normal for hondas. my rsx did the same thing.

if your feeling the clutch pedal click when you press or depress the clutch the clutch master cylinder is going...replacable under warrenty, ive already had it done once, the rsx guys have this problem too...theres a few threads on it under this section search....

theres a difference between a click that your hear which is an electronic click when you press the clutch in which is normal every civic si does that...but if you press the clutch pedal in and FEEL one or more clicks like its sticking or tapping on something then that is going to be the master cylinder...believe me i know what it feels like i had to have mine replaced...it just got worse and worse for me...

I have this sound too. There is another thread out there somewhere on this forum.

I have heard a bunch of people say "yeah its your master cylinder going out" but has anyone's actually gone out to the point where it didn't work anymore?

Crap, mine started clicking last week... Just went to a near by Honda dealer but they dont have the master cilinder on stock so Ill call other dealers to see who has it.

I'd also like to know what the previous poster asked.. what would suck if it dies on me while driving...
