Lug Nuts for Spare
Not sure if this has ever been brought up or not, but I know many people have changed out their OEM rims and have put on some aftermarket rims. I was looking over some stuff on Collegehills Honda's website and came across the Mugen wheels. While looking at the installation instructions, I noticed that it comes with a lug nut holder for the spare. Now how many of us with after market rims have ever thought about our new lugs being incompatible with our spare tires? I know I haven't. I'm glad I still have 'em and will promptly stick a set in my trunk for the spare. I've never ever considered the possibility of them not working on my spare.
Just thought I'd throw that out there if not to make those of you that have aftermarket rims aware of the possibility that your spare may fly off with the wrong lugs. |
