Recommended alarm system / anti-theft

Hello all, so i just bought an 09 si coupe. its my first car and im trying to do everything possible to prevent it from being stolen. i know if a thief really wants it, they'll figure a way to take it. so my goal is to basically buy me as much time or draw as much attention if (god forbid) it ever happens. any recommendations ?

thanks and i apologize if this was posted in the wrong section

"Search Thread" function should probably yield some discussions of this topic .

Viper 5901. Buy Amazon $200, installation who knows; $200, buy a couple required "modules" off amazon @ $30 apiece (Honda immobilizer bypass & glassbreak sound sensor/tilt sensor whathaveyou, and then you'll have remote start, a 2-way LCD keychain pager, and all the other features that comes with that unit. Yes, works with both auto and manual transmissions. Research up on it and call your local installation places. Choose the installation place with the best warranty and make sure it doesn't look like a ghetto scumbag toilet like most auto paint/electronics places do. gl

Is lowjack really any good at all? They told me lojack was 500 bucks extra, so I told them to take it out, but they left it in for free. For me, if someone steals me car and taints it, I do NOT want it back, give me a brand new civic.
