07 Civic LX transmission problem?
Hi guys
I have a civic LX with 12000 miles on it I bought it on November of 2007 When I accelerate it feels like rpm is stuck in 2k rpm what i mean by that is even though it changes gears(its automatic) rpm does not seem to change so when i press the pedal just a little bit to accelerate fast it kicks down and brings rpm up to 3000 rpm it kicks down its gear so easily with little pressure on my foot when i drove my friends coupe, it felt more powerful is it because its ex? i thought ex had same engine as lx? OH AND IS ANYONE HAVING A PROBLEM WITH STARTING WHEN ITS COLD? THX |

for me, with only 12,000 miles, I wouldnt even bother to post it here...straight to the dealer for free warranty repairs.
that being said, it sounds like a faulty shift solenoid... causing the shift to happen incorretly or not at all. definately have it checked and dont drive it anymore until you figure it out if you can avoid it. |
