Personal Opinion

Hello, this is my first post on this site. I drive a 06 Silver Civic LX(happy cuz alot of info here on non-Si civics). Anyway I have a story to tell about my car. I was hit on new years eve by a drunk driver(driving one of them hick old ford trucks), his insurance picked up the damage i was 0% fault. He hit my driver side door and part of the side panel torwards the rear. The second accident happened a couple months after that where a friend backed into my car which was a fender bender. Finally, last saturday my friends mom backed into my driver side torwards the front. What im writing about to is ask what would you do? Is it worth me consider trading this 06 in for another 06? If trading in is a good idea how much in general am I going to lose in the trade? I love this car but I do feel somewhat less safe in it because of the accidents. Also I am having the fender bender fixed before I consider any of this.

Dealers can examine it and give you a price is about 15 minutes. CarMax is another place that does evaluation and will write you a certificate of sorts that's good for 3 days.

Or research used cars on cars.com and autotrader.com.

Just take it to a dealer and let them tell you what it's worth. :) Good luck.

some city dealers will try to low ball you BUT may not know the car has been damaged.

all they do is walk around for any VISIBLE damage and drive but since it's so new they may not even do that.

stop by the busiest dealer in town and u might get away with it!

I would personaly keep it, if you trade it for anothe 06 you will get screwed on a trade in to get the same car. Also I think the dealer would think something is up if you want to trade for the same car, you won't get anything past them. Sorry about the bad luck, get some friends who can drive.
