sedan sunroof - how much does it tilt?

hi all,

those of you with sedans equipped with sunroofs, how much does your sunroof tilt? i ask because i think mine isn't tilting as much as it used to, let alone as much as other sunroofs you see on the road these days...

i'm also kind of wondering what the usefulness of the sunroof is in the tilt position... its orientation would seem to suggest that it operates as an exhaust rather than an intake, in which case the intake would be either the front windows or the dash air vents... but in the latter case it doesn't seem to have a noticeable effect...

the faster you drive, more outside air will be forced in (with roof in tilt position)

i think its also for venting hot air out when you're parked.

That is what I use my tilt position for primarily on those really hot days.
