3rd and 6th gear problems..

does anybody have the same problem shifting to 3rd gear?? it always trows back at me evrytime i do a quick shift.. and shifting in 6th also is kinda hard, somtimes i have to push the clutch twice..

try searching for it, i saw alot of posts on the 3rd gear.

Third gear is a fairly well documented issue, and can be considered a 'carry over' from the RSX-S. The issue with sixth gear has been posted a few times (here and in other forums. For a number of owners it takes come getting used to. Many have reported shifting into 4th rather than 6th when attempting the gear change. The recommendation is to keep the pull slightly to the right when shifting into 6th. It is a bit foreign for some, but have no fear of shifting into reverse.

I wonder if the TSX has a 6 speed, and if that would help, if someone swapped the tranny from a TSX into an SI.

I dont think the blocks are the same different bolt patterns. Plus you would have to look up the ratio of the transmission gears it might make the car slower if it isn't geared the same.
