throttle hesitation on 06 Si

my fg2's throttle hesitates when shifting hard at high rpms....only sometimes.....for gears 3 and up. not all the time, just sometimes....during hard shifts and redline or close to redline. for example, i shift to 3rd from 2nd at 8k, stomp on the gas and the throttle hesitates before the gear actually catches....the rpm needle just sits there for a half second or so, then it'll catch and the rpm needle moves.

anyone else?

what could cause this?

what gives?

is this a normal problem associated with drive by wire?

nevermind

damn it.

i searched and read some threads and its the DBW.

see...i never had to get my ecu reflashed cuz it already had the current, updated software. so, i never knew what to expect from the old ecu, before it was flashed. the flash does not completely solve the problems that the original ecu had before (i.e. rev hang and surging), it only improves it...not eliminate it.

so its the DBW.
