Exclamation Questions about TSBs

Heya,

I have 1k miles left for my tranny warranty, and tried my best to assume 3rd gear was fine (pressed pedal all the way down, warmed up, etc etc). The sucker just grinds and pops out of gear once every hundred times or so. I'm planning on harassing the dealer every day until they fix it. I had a question on this though--in the sticky TSB is that issued from NHTSA or is the TSB directly from Honda? Honda of Oakland (which I'm never going back to cus' service is utter junk) insists there's no TSB on trannys. I'm not sure since they lie all the time.

TSB is from the sticky:

Make : HONDA Model : CIVIC Year : 2006
Manufacturer : HONDA (AMERICAN HONDA MOTOR CO.)
Service Bulletin Num : 1205
Date of Bulletin: DEC 16, 2005
NHTSA Item Number: 10018868
Component: POWER TRAIN:MANUAL TRANSMISSION
Summary:
TRANSMISSION GRINDS AT SHIFTS, SKIP SHIFTING.

Is this from Honda? Is it in their database?

That looks to be a HONDA tsb since its got the service bulletin num.

How can you have only 1k left on the warrenty. IF its an 06 then it has 5/50000 powertrain warrenty

Hmmm powertrain encompasses transmission? Did that stinkin dealership lie again then? Urgh. Anyways, gonna call a different (non-slimy) dealership to see if I can get it checked out. Maybe they categorized it under:

Replacement Parts Limited Warranty - Genuine Honda parts, when installed by a Honda dealer, are covered for 1 year or 12, 000 miles.
